Fire Prevention Week

Kindergarteners enjoyed learning lots of useful tips during fire prevention week. They learned about the importance of fire alarms and family plans if there is a fire at home, how to "get low and go" if the house is full of smoke, and how to stop, drop, and roll. The students learned all about the firefighters who would come help them if there were a fire. Along with learning about really fun things like the equipment and vehicles that firefighters use, the students learn that if they were in a fire and heard a firefighter calling for them they should not be scared and should let them help.
